What is a site?

A Site object is normally used to represent a designated office branch in your organisation.

Divisions, Cost Centres, Group and Sites are very similar and can be used interchangeably to better reflect the internal structure of your company.

What is a Site?

If your organisation is made up of a number of different sites, select this organisational unit and place it in the directory in a position that replicates your actual organisational structure. For example, if you classify Site as an actual location, simply name each site accordingly and place all cost centres, groups, department and extensions underneath as shown below:

A site may contain any number of sub-groups or sub-sites. Each of these can also contain any number of sub-divisions.

NOTE: Divisions, Cost Centres, Groups and Sites are very similar and almost interchangeable. Simply use the icons best suited to reflect your actual organisational structure.

Adding a Site

To add a Site to the Directory, simply select Site form the Organisation unit list and give it a name that represents its location e.g. "London" as shown below. Then click Add to put it in to your Directory.

Adding a Site

There are no limits to the amount of Sites you can add. As there is no limit to the depth of the hierarchy within TIM Enterprise, you may add Sites within Sites. You simply select Site, give it a name and add it.

Your Sites will appear in the Directory as follows:
