Configuring your SMDR output
The Avaya EuroGeneris has multiple outputs SMDR outputs. To configure the CDR output you will need to speak with your system maintainer. TIM Plus requires the SMDR output to be set to customized and the format should be Format 5 rows 80 columns. For more information about the output and configuration of your SMDR data, please contact your phone maintainer.

Installing NetPBX
The Avaya EuroGeneris phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and sent it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:
- Click on the Directory tab.
- Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click Properties.

- Within the Site Properties window, select Avaya EuroGeneris from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
- Finally, click Click on the Save button .

<h2>Configuring CDR</h2>
<p>The Avaya EuroGeneris has multiple outputs for CDR. To configure the
CDR output you need to speak to your system maintainer. You need to
inform them that the CDR output should be set to <span class="keyword">customized</span> and the
format should be <span class="keyword">Format 5 rows 80 columns</span>.</p>
<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>
<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Avaya EuroGeneris:</p>
<ol>
<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>

<li>Within the <span class="reference">Site Properties</span> window, select <span class="keyword">Avaya EuroGeneris</span> from the <span class="reference">PBX model</span> drop-down list.</li>
