Panasonic KX-TD Series

These instructions should assist in configuring your Panasonic KX-TD Series to work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection information	Description
Connection type	Serial Output: Panasonic KX-TD Series sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Panasonic KX-TD PBX to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.
Cable configuration	Null-Modem/Crossover.

Configuring your SMDR

Below you will find instructions on how to configure your Panasonic KX-TD Series to output SMDR to TIM Enterprise. You will need to do this from one of the Digital Proprietary Telephone (DPT): KX-T7431, KX-T7433, KX-T7436, KX-T7230, KX-T7235:

Press PROG. + * + # and enter your System Password.
Enter 800 and press the Next button.
You will now see Outgoing: Off, press the Select button until you see All. When you can see All press the Store button.
Press the Next button and you should see Incoming: Off. Press the Select button until you see All. When you can see All press the Store button.
Press the End button, the programming is now complete.

Configuring TIM Enterprise

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Panasonic KX-TD 1232:

Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.
Click on the Directory tab.
Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Panasonic KX-TD 1232'.
Left-click on it and select Properties.
From the General settings tab select Panasonic KX-TD Series from the PBX model list.

In the Connection tab select No connection required from the Connection method list.
Finally, click on the Save button.
