Siemens Hipath 4000

These instructions should assist in configuring your Siemens Hicom to work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection information	Description
Connection type	IP.
IP method	TIM Enterprise will connect to the IP address of your Siemens Hipath 4000 on a specifc TCP port.
TCP/IP connection	The Siemens Hipath 4000 sends SMDR information via TCP/IP on a TCP port. TIM Enterprise will connect to the IP address of Siemens Hipath 4000.
SMDR configuration	You will need to speak to your system maintainer to enable SMDR output, they will need to tell you the IP address and TCP port to connect to.

Configuring TIM Enterprise

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to connect to your Siemens Hipath 4000 to receive SMDR:

Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.
Click on the Directory tab.
Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Siemens Hipath'.
Left-click on it and select Properties.
From the General settings tab select Siemens HiCom HiPath from the PBX model list.

In the Connection tab select Listen for connection from PBX from the Connection method list.
In the Port field enter in 9000.
Finally, click on the Save button.
