What is a Group

If your organisation contains a number of different groups that work completely independently, you may choose to set them up as such. Within each Group you can then place the associated sites, departments, cost centres and extensions.

NOTE: Divisions, Cost Centres, Group and Sites are very similar and almost interchangeable. Simply use the icons best suited to reflect your actual organisational structure.

Adding a Group

To add a Group to the directory, simply select Group from the Organisation unit list as shown below and give it a name that represents its function e.g. 'UK Sales' as shown below. Then click Add to put in to your Directory.

There are no limits to the amount of Groups you can add so you can set up your TIM Enterprise Directory to faithfully mimic your actual organisational directory. You simply select the Group, give it a name and add it.
