These instructions help you configure your AYCTelecom IPcts to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring your SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how to setup the SMDR output using the IPcts Management web page:

  1. Browse and login to your AYCTelecom IPcts web page.
  2. Click on the System tab
  3. Click on the SMDR/Log tab and configure the fields as below:
    • SMDR Server Enabled: Please click on the check box.
    • SMDR Server Output: Click on the radio button Network Address.
    • SMDR Client IP Address: Enter in the IP address of the machine that TIM Plus is installed on.
    • SMDR Client Port: Enter the TCP port number that you want to send the SMDR data to. You can use any free TCP port, we would recommend starting from 9000 and increment it per PBX unit that you are going to send SMDR data from to TIM Plus.
  4. Click on the Update button.
  5. Click on the Commit Changes button at the top of the page.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your AYCTelecom IPcts:

  1. Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
  2. Click on the Directory tab.
  3. Select the site configured during the setup wizard and click Properties.

  4. Within the Site Properties window, select AYCTelecom IPCTS from the PBX model drop-down list.
  5. In the Connection method field select Listen for connections from PBX from the drop-down list.
  6. Leave the Host field blank.
  7. In the Port field, enter in the TCP port that was configured on your AYCTelecom IPcts.
  8. Finally, click on the Save button to apply the changes.
