Panasonic ICX/S-ICX

These instructions should assist in configuring your Panasonic ICX/S-ICX to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection information	Description
Connection type	Serial Output: Panasonic ICX/S-ICX sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Panasonic ICX/S-ICX PBX to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.
Cable configuration	Null-Modem/Crossover.

For your SMDR configuration, you will need to speak to your system maintainer to enable SMDR output.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Panasonic ICX/S-ICX:

Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
Click on the Directory tab.
Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click Propertiesor create a new site and click Properties.

Within the Site Properties window, select Panasonic ICX from the PBX model drop-down list.
In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
Finally, click on the Save button.
