Configuring your SMDR output
Using the CAT (Customer Administration Terminal) in the system-programming mode, enter the following settings:

CM35+14 | Enable SMDR for outgoing calls to required trunk routes. | ||
CM35+49 | Enable SMDR for incoming calls to required trunk routes. | ||
CM08 | If SMDR for incoming calls is enabled, specify whether it applies to all incoming calls or only to those with Account Codes. Include ANI/Caller ID for incoming calls.

Installing NetPBX
If your NEC NEAX has been configured to send SMDR data via a serial connection, you will first need to install the NetPBX software to collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus. For setup instructions, click on the link below:
Configuring TIM Plus
Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on to TIM Plus as usual and apply the following settings:
- Click on the tab.
- Select the site configured during the setup wizard and click
. - Within the Site Properties window, select NEC NEAX from the PBX model drop-down list.
- In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
- Click on the button to apply the settings.
