Configuring your SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how Follow the instructions below to configure your Samsung iDCS OfficeServ phone system to output SMDR data to TIM Plus. You will need to use the Samsung Installation Tool:

  1. Log in to the Samsung Installation Tool software.
  2. On the Click on the 5. Features option from the left-hand side, click and expand the 5. Featuresoption.menu.
  3. Click on the 5.6 System I/O Options tab and select 5.6.2. LAN Printer.
  4. On the right-hand side you will have In the LAN Printer options. The first column will be SMDR. Below are the options and how they need to be configured:, configure the entries in the SMDR column, as shown in the screenshot below, modifying the value of the Printer IP Address field accordingly, in order to match the IP address of the computer running TIM Plus.

  5. Click on the Save icon at the top to save the settings.
  6. On the left-hand side, click on Click on the 5.6.3. SMDR Options. On the right-hand side you will see the SMDR Options. Below are the options and how they need to be configured tab and configure the following settings:

  7. Click on the Save icon at the top to save the settings.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how Follow the instructions below to configure TIM Plus to collect the SMDR data from your Samsung OfficeServ:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and clickProperties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select Samsung DCS from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Host field, enter the IP address of your Samsung OfficeServ.
  6. In the Port field, enter in 9000 5100.
  7. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
  8. In the Connection script field, select Samsung from the drop-down list.
  9. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
