Configuring your SMDR output

The Avaya IP Office version 5 or lower uses the Avaya Delta Server software to configure the SMDR output. If you don't have a copy of the Avaya Delta Server, you should be able to get this from your Avaya Administration CD; otherwise, otherwise speak to contact your system maintainer and they should be able to supply you with to obtain a copy of the software.

 The Avaya Delta Server is known to be backward compatible with older version versions of the Avaya IP Office as far back as v3.x.

Configuring Avaya Delta Server

Please make sure Ensure the CCC Delta Server service is started, and then follow the below instructions to below to configure the Avaya Delta Server to work with TIM Plus:

  1. Open your On the computer running Delta Server, open a web browser and type in the following in to the address barnavigate to: http://127.0.0.1:8080.
  2. Check Ensure that the Avaya Delta Server is connected to your Avaya IP Office . To do this, you need to look at the Comms Status, it should say Comms Restored. If it doesn't then you need to click on the Comms link on by verifying that Comms Status is displaying Comms Restored. Alternatively, select the Comms option from the left-hand side , then menu and click on the Search button and once it .  When the system finds your Avaya IP Office unit, select it from the Connection drop-down list and click on the Apply button. This should connect the Avaya Delta Server to the Avaya IP Office you selected.Now
  3. When connected, click on the SMDR option on from the left-hand side.You will need to menu and configure each of the fields on the SMDR screen, as shown in the image below:

  4. Now click Click on the apply button. Apply button for the changes to take effect.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how Follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus to collect the SMDR data from the Avaya Delta Server::

  1. Log on in to TIM Plus and click on the Directory tab.
  2. Click on Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select Avaya IP Office from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Host field, enter the IP Address address of the Avaya Delta Server.
  6. In the Port field enter in , enter 8082.
  7. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
  8. In the Connection script field, select Avaya IP Office from the drop-down list.
  9. Finally, click Click on the Save button .
