Configuring your SMDR output

To receive SMDR information data from the your BT Pathway you will need to have a BT SystemPhone. You will need to System Phone and be familiar with programming via the BT SystemPhonehow to use it to perform system programming. To enable the SMDR output, follow the steps below:

  1. From the programming position, press the phone set up setup key P and select System programming.
  2. Enter the PIN and select System.
  3. Select Call logging and choose Call logging on.
  4. Press HANDSFREE/MONITOR to finish.

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply follow the following settingssteps below:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select BT Pathway from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.

<p>You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the V24/SMDR module to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.</p>

<h2>Configuring your SMDR</h2>

<p>To receive SMDR information from the BT Pathway you will 
need to have a BT SystemPhone. You will need to be familiar with 
programming via the BT SystemPhone. To enable the SMDR output follow 
the below steps:</p>

<ol>
	<li>From the programming position, press the phone set up key <span class="button no_margin">P</span> and select <span class="button no_margin">System programming</span>.</li>
	<li>Enter the PIN and select <span class="button no_margin">System</span>.</li>
	<li>Select <span class="button no_margin">Call logging</span> and choose <span class="button no_margin">Call logging on</span>.</li>
	<li>Press <span class="button no_margin">HANDSFREE/MONITOR</span> to finish.</li>

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your BT Pathway:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>

	<li>Within the <span class="reference">Site Properties</span> window, select <span class="keyword">BT Pathway</span> from the <span class="reference">PBX model</span> drop-down list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> field select <span class="keyword">No connection required</span> from the drop-down list.</li>
	<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button no_margin">Save</span> button.</li>
