Configure the SMDR output

Follow the steps below to enable the SMDR output in your telephone system:

  1. Log in to the Siemens OpenOffice web portal.
  2. Click on

    and then select

  3. Under the
    Referencemacro
    LabelCall Charges
    menu options, select

    and tick the SMDR options shown below:

  4. Under 
    Referencemacro
    LabelCDR System
    options, select
    Keywordmacro
    LabelLAN-TCP-Client
    from the drop-down list, as the output format.
  5. In the
    Referencemacro
    LabelTCP-Client
    field, enter the IP address of the PC running TIM Enterprise and the port number that you want your SMDR data to be sent to. You can use any free TCP port, but we would recommend on e in the 9000 range.
  6. Click on the
    Buttonmacro
    LabelApply
    tab to save the changes.

Configure TIM Enterprise

Follow the steps below to configure TIM Enterprise to collect the SMDR data from your telephone system:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Choose Locate the site PBX object you want to configure and click Properties.
    in the Directory, right-click on it and select Properties.
  3. A new window will open, displaying the general properties of your PBX object. Select Siemens OpenOffice from the Data format list and tick the

  12. In the Site Properties window, select Siemens OpenOffice from the PBX model drop-down list.
  13. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect Click on the Connection tab and select Establish TCP connection to PBX from the drop-down Connection method list.
  14. In the Host field, enter the IP address of your Siemens OpenOffice telephone system.
  15. In the Port field, enter the port number you have configured in the phone telephone system.
  16. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.

  20. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
