To locate an extension in the system, click on the button at the bottom-right corner of the panel, as shown below:

The search function will pop up, allowing you to enter the extension number you want to search for.

The results will appear in the  window, as shown below:

 

 

<p>Sometimes you may lose track of which extension group an extension belongs in, especially if your extension groups contain many individual extensions. You can
easily locate an extension by clicking on the <img class="icon" src="http://www.tri-line.com/common/img/documentation/tim_professional/find_button.png" /> button
beneath the <span class="reference">Extensions list</span> window (right-hand side).</p>

<p>The search function will appear allowing you to enter the extenbsion you want to search for as shown in the exaple here for Ext 208:</p>

<p>Enter the extension number that you would like to find and then press the <span class="button">OK</span> button. If
the extension exists, it will appear highlighted in the right-hand
window, whilst the left-hand window will highlight the extension
group in which the extension exists (in the example below, New Extensions). 
If the extension you entered does not exist, you will be told.</p>
