These instructions should assist in configuring your Aastra Intelligate Series to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection type | Serial Output or IP: If you have configured the Aastra Intelligate to send the SMDR information via a serial connection, you will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Aastra Intelligate to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on. |

IP method | TCP/IP connection: If the Aastra Intelligate is configured to send the SMDR information via TCP/IP the actual installation of TIM Plus can be anywhere on the network that the PBX is connected to. The Aastra Intelligate will need to be configured to send the SMDR data to the IP address and TCP port that TIM Enetrprise is listening on. |
For your SMDR configuration, please note that Aastra Intelligate Series has multiple output formats. For TIM Plus, the output will need to be configured to the PC5 format.
Configuring TIM Plus
Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Aastra Intelligate PC5:
- Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
- Click on the tab.
- Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click or create a new site and click .
- Within the Site Properties window, select Aastra PC5 from the PBX model drop-down list.
- From the Connection method drop-down list, select Listen for connections from PBX.
- Leave the Host field blank.
- In the Port field enter in 9000.
- Finally, click on the button.
