To access the tariff table, click on the Tariff editor tab in the menu bar, as shown below:


To select a tariff table, expand the drop-down menu at the left-hand side of the screen and choose from the available options, as shown below:


Once a tariff has been selected, a similar screen will be displayed:


Properties

The Properties button allows you to configure the standard properties of the tariff table.


A summary screen can be seen below:


Field nameDescription
Tariff titleThe name of the tariff table.
Minimum dialled digitsThe minimum number of dialled digits required for the call to be logged as a valid call.
Minimum search digitsThe minimum number of search-digits required to start allocating a tariff charge to a call. TIM start from 10 digits and works backwards in order to find the closest tariff match.
International digitsThe digits used to dial internationally,  e.g. all international calls made from UK begin with 00.
Weekday ratesThe weekday rates you want to apply to calls for each hour of the day.

For example, in the table below, rate 2 applies from midnight to 7:59 and from from 18:00 to 23:59, and rate 1applies from 8:00 to 17:59.

The actual rate will be determined by the band dialled, e.g. the cost of calls to mobile bands will generally be more expensive than mobile calls.

Saturday ratesThe Saturday rates you want to apply to calls for each hour of the day.

For example, in the table below rate 3 applies at all times.

Sunday ratesThe Sunday rates you want to apply to calls for each hour of the day.

For example, in the table below rate 3 applies at all times.

RoundingSelect whether you would like decimal places rounded up down or left at default.

Recost

TIM Plus provides the option to recost calls. This means call data can be rerun applying the rates of a different tariff table. You have the option to select the new tariff you would like to apply as well as the period you would like to recost calls for. To do this, click on theRecostbutton, as shown below:


In the new window that opens, choose the new tariff from the drop-down list and select the option to recost All calls or enter in a specific period.


Status

When a tariff table is being updated, you will be able to check the current status. To do this, click on theStatusbutton.


The following window will appear showing the title of the table being updated as well as the filename and file path. The call count will show the current number of calls that have been processed.


Localise

You can tell TIM Plus where you are based and localise your tariffs accordingly (e.g. if you are based in London, you will need to tell it so that all calls to surrounding areas are treated as local). To localise a tariff, click on theLocalisetab, as shown below:


The following window will pop-up. Enter your local dialcode, then clickCheck. All surrounding area codes will automatically be added. Finally, click on theLocalisebutton at the bottom-right corner of this window to localise your tariff.
