These instructions help you configure your Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring your SMDR

The Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio phone system to a PC that will be running NetPBX software.

For more information about the output and configuration of the SMDR data, please contact your phone maintainer.

These instructions should assist in configuring your Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio to work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX configuration, please contact your system maintainer.

Connection information Description
Connection type Serial Output: Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio PBX sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio PBX to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.
Cable configuration Null-mode/Crossover or Straight-through. Please check your Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio manual.

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio:

  1. Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.
  2. Click on the Directory tab.
  3. Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click Propertiesor create a new site and click Properties.
  4. Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio
  5. Within the Site Properties window, select Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio from the PBX model drop-down list.
  6. In the Connection method field select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  7. Finally, click on the Save button.
