Introduction

The Custom report is the most flexible of all report, allowing you to select any number of criteria on which to filter your results. For those who feel they want more information than is provided in the in-built reports, you can specify exactly what search terms you want to look for. Results are returned in an itemised list, with each call type having its own section:  All, Outbound, Answered, Missed, Internal and Tandem callsallows a wide range of options and filtering criteria to be selected, enabling you to search for very specific phone calls. The results are displayed as an itemised list, grouped by call type: AllOutboundAnsweredMissedInternal and Tandem.

Running the report

On the Reports screen, select the Custom report from the left-hand pane and click the Select this report button.

If both a site and group have been selected, you can further limit the report's results to include only calls by involving a particular user, by selecting it that user from the drop-down list.

Tip

If your web account is restricted to a specific site or group, only those entities to which you have access will be available in the drop-down lists.

Once you have selected the scope of your report, click  click on the Next button to set additional report parameters and options. To , or to run the report immediately without doing so, click the click the Finish button.

Account code

If you want to To produce a bill report consisting only of only chargeable calls that were made using a particular account code, enter the account code in the field provided.

Destination

If you want to filter calls to a specific, known destination, type the name of the destination in the text box provided. This filter accepts the ! and * symbols for excluding values and specifying partial matches, respectively.

This section enables you to further narrow down your report results, by excluding certain types of calls. It also allows you to sort the report's results in a particular manner.

As with all reports produced by TIM Plus, each page of the report includes the following information:

  • the report's title, e.g. Call Scoring
  • the date and time that the report was generated
  • the name of the report, if applicable

The report consists of a single table housing all table containing an itemised list of the calls that matched your selection criteria. Each column header of the table is described herebelow:

Date & TimeThe date and time the call started.
SourceThe location place from where the call originated.
CLIThe telephone number of the remote caller .for inbound calls

Route

The information displayed in this field will be is determined by the type of call.:

  • For for incoming and outgoing calls, the route field will show the CLI of the caller.For this shows the number that was dialled
  • for incoming internal calls, the route field will show this shows either the user name caller's username or extension number.
  • For outgoing calls the route field will show the dialled number.

Destination

The information displayed in this field will be is determined by the type of call.:

  • For Incoming calls for incoming calls, this shows the name of the user whose extension answered the call is shown. If the user has not been allocated a name, , or the extension number is shown instead.
  • For outgoing calls the destination dialled is shown. Where you have added a more specific location name (e.g. Joe Bloggs mobile), this will be shown instead of the generic location name.
  • For internal calls the extension dialled will be shown if not available
  • for outgoing calls, this shows the geographical location that was dialled, or an alias if defined in your contacts list
  • for internal calls, this shows the extension that was dialled, enclosed in square brackets [ ].
ResponseThe length of time it took for the call to be answered (i.e.g. the response time)
DurationThe duration of the call (in hours, minutes and seconds.)
CostThe cost of the call.
Listen to the recording buttonImage RemovedThis icon will show only if there is a recording file associated with the call.
