The Call Geography report consists of three graphical pie charts, each showing call information grouped by volume, duration and cost, along with a table containing complete information about where, geographically, you are making the calls to. Calls are . An accompanying table is also shown, containing details of where - geographically - your calls are made, classified by their tariff band (e.g. , such as local, national, mobile , or international, etc.)Each segment is presenting as a percentage of the number of calls, showing you how much of the cost is made up of those types of calls. This enables you to quickly see which calls

The proportion of calls to each geographical destination is shown in terms of volume, duration and cost, highlighting the calls that are costing you the most and taking up the most call of your time.

Once you have set the reporting period, click on the Next button to set additional report parameters and options, or select the Finish button to run the report immediately.

Tip

NOTE: Running this report over longer periods of time increases the reliability of its results.

If both a site and group have been selected, you can further limit the report's results to include only calls by involving a particular user, by selecting it that user from the drop-down list.

When you have chosen selected a reporting period , and are happy with your selections, you have two options:

As with all reports, the header of the report includes:

  • the report title
  • the date and time of the report
  • the name of the report, if applicable

To view details of any filters or selection parameters used in creating this report, simply click on About this report on the top-right corner of the page.
The WEB format allows for complete flexibility when viewing any report. All headers are clickable, allowing you to re-arrange the report layout in seconds, to sort the calls in ascending or decending order based on the header clicked.The final report consists of three pie charts , and a table.

Pie charts

  • The left-hand pie chart shows the amount of calls to the various destinationseach location
  • The centre graph chart shows the time spent on calls to each location
  • The right-hand chart shows the cost of calls to each destination.location

This The table shows in detail the amount of calls that were made to the specific destination, also expressed as a percentage of all calls, along with the average, total and percentage costs associated with each destination.The headers of the table are as followsthe following information about the calls made to each charge band location:

Charge bandThe Charge charge bandrepresents the area dialled, International, , e.g. Local, National, Other and Personal /Mobile.All chargebands have hyperlinks to allow International, Mobile, etc. Each listed charge band is click-able, allowing you to drill-down further to see which site, department , extension or person made the calluser made calls to that charge band location.
% of callsThis column shows the The number of calls per charge band location as a percentage of the total calls made. To re orderreorder, simply click on the header to alternate between descending and ascending.
Number of callsThe number total volume of calls lists the actual number of calls made to each of charge band shown with the total number of calls for that period showing on the summary line. To re order, simply click on the header and the report will alternate between the charge band with the most calls and the charge band with the least calls.location.
% of total durationThe % of total duration shows the number of calls made to each charge band location, expressed as a percentage of the total duration of calls made. e.g. 1% of the dotal duration was spent on International calls.all charge bands.
Average durationThis column shows the The average duration spent on calls to this the corresponding charge band. This is ideal if you are speaking to your carrier about issues like call capping, particularly if the average call duration is quite high. You can reorder to sort in descending and ascending order of average call duration by clicking on the header.
Total durationThis column shows the The total amount of time spent on calls to a particular chargeband. To re-order, simply click on the header to alternate between descending and ascendingthe corresponding charge band.
% of total costThe percentage of total cost allows you to see what of all calls made to each charge band location, expressed as a percentage of the total cost of all calls was spent on calls to this chargeband.
Average costIt shows the The average cost of calls made to this chargeband. To re-order, simply click on the header to alternate between descending and ascending.each charge band location.

The summary line at the foot of the table shows the total number of calls included in the report, the total duration of calls, average and total costs.If you would like to go back and view this report for a larger section of the organisation, click on the appropriate link in the breadcrumb, as shown below:

The Web format is the most interactive of all formats: all column headers are click-sortable and most graphical and tabular elements can be drilled down into, allowing deeper analysis of your results. By clicking on the About this report link at the top-right corner of the page, you can review any filters and options that have been applied to the report.
