Accessing the tariff editor

To access the tariff table, click on the Tariff editor tab from the menu bar, as shown below:

To select a tariff table, expand the drop-down menu at list on the left-hand side of the screen and choose from the available options, as shown below:

Tariff properties

To configure the general properties of your tariff table, click on the

button will allow you to set up the standard properties of the tariff for the selected entry. , as shown below:

A summary screen can be seen new window will open where you can configure the properties of your tariff table. Each field in this window is described in the table below:

Fild Field nameDescription
Tariff titleThe date the call was made onname of the tariff table.
Minimum dialled digitsThe minimum number of dialled digits required for the call to be logged as a valid call.
Minimum search digitsThis is the The minimum number of search digits required to start allocating a tariff charge to a call. TIM will work back Plus starts from 10 digits and works backwards in order to find the closest tariff match.
International digitsThe digits used to dial internationally, e.g. All all international calls made from UK begin with " 00".
Weekday ratesThe hourly weekday rates you want to apply to calls for each hour of the day on weekdays. For example, in the table below , Rate 2 rate

Please note that the actual rate will be determined by the band dialled e.g. the cost of calls to mobile bands will generally be more expensive than mobile calls.

Recost

Localising the tariff table

To inform TIM Plus provides the option to recost calls. This means call data can be rerun applying the rates of a different tariff table. You have the option to select the new tariff you would like to apply as well as the period you would like to recost calls for. To do thiswhich calls should be treated as local by your tariff table, click on the Recostbutton Localise tab, as shown below:

In the new window that opens, choose the new tariff from the drop-down list and select the option to recost All calls or enter in a specific periodEnter your local dial code in the field provided and click on the Check button. The surrounding area codes will be listed automatically. Click on the  Localise button at the bottom-right corner of the window to localise your tariff.

Recosting calls

TIM Plus allows you to apply different rates to your already-logged calls, by re-running your data using a different tariff table. To recost calls, click on the Statusbutton. Recost button, as shown below:

The following A new window will appear showing the title of the table being updated as well as the filename and file path. The call count will show the current number of calls that have been processedopen, allowing you to select the tariff table and the period you want to recost calls for. If you want to recost all calls currently in the database, select the

Localise

Warning

The recosting procedure entails removing the selected calls from the database and re-running the data using different rates. If this procedure is interrupted, you may lose calls.

The following A new window will pop-up. Enter your local dialcode, then clickCheck. All surrounding area codes will automatically be added. Finally, click on theLocalisebutton at the bottom-right corner of this window to localise your tariffopen, where you can update your current tariff table or download one that has not been installed by default.
