work with TIM Plus. If you are not familiar with PBX

<h2>Configuring your SMDR</h2>

<p>The Mitel 3300 has various SMDR fields that need to be configured. This can be achieved using the Mitel Communication Director. Below you will find how to access <span class="reference">SMDR Options</span> window and how the fields need to be configured. As there are quite a few fields, we have supplied a screenshot of how they need to be configured:</p>

<h4>Accessing the SMDR Options window</h4>

<ol>
	<li>Login to the Mitel Communication Director.</li>
	<li>Click on <span class="button no_margin">System Properties</span>.</li>
	<li>Click on <span class="button no_margin">System Feature Settings</span>.</li>
	<li>Click on <span class="button no_margin">SMDR Options</span>.</li>

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Mitel 3300:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>

	<li>Within the <span class="reference">Site Properties</span> window, select <span class="keyword">Mitel 3300</span> from the <span class="reference">PBX model</span> drop-down list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> field select <span class="keyword">Actively connect to PBX</span> from the drop-down list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Host</span> field enter the IP Address of your Mitel 3300.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Port</span> field enter in <span class="keyword">1752</span>.</li>
	<li>Leave the <span class="reference">Username</span> and <span class="reference">Password</span> fields blank.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Connection script</span> field select <span class="keyword">Mitel</span> from the drop-down list.</li>
	<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button no_margin">Save</span> button.</li>

These instructions help you to configure the SMDR output on your Mitel 3300 phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Follow the steps below to configure the SMDR options of your Mitel 3300:

  1. Log in to the Mitel Communication Director software
  2. Click on System Properties

Configuring TIM Plus

Follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus to collect SMDR data from your Mitel 3300:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Choose the site you want to configure and click Properties.

  3. In the Site Properties window, select Mitel 3300 from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Host field, enter the IP address of your Mitel 3300.
  6. In the Port field, enter 1752.
  7. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
  8. In the Connection script field, select Mitel 3300 from the drop-down list.
  9. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
