Configuring your SMDR output

The Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio phone system to a the PC that will be running NetPBX software. netpbx is installed and running on. For more information about the output and configuration of the your SMDR data, please contact your phone system maintainer.

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>

Installing NetPBX

To collect call logging data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you first need to install the NetPBX software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log in to TIM Plus and perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Choose the site you want to configure and clickProperties.

  2. In the Site Properties window, select Fujitsu Rhapsody Rio from the PBX model drop-down list.
  3. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  4. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
