These instructions help you configure your Aastra MX-ONE (Aastra 700) phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring your SMDR output

For your SMDR configuration, The Aastra MX-ONE has supports multiple output SMDR output formats. TIM Plus requires the SMDR format to be set to to either

Installing NetPBX

The Aastra MX-ONE phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port , you will and send it to TIM Plus you first need to install NetPbx software,which then sends the SMDR to TIM Plusthe netpbx software. Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps:

  1. Click on the ButtonmacroLabelDirectorytab. tab and highlight the site configured during the setup wizard.
  2. Click

<p>For your SMDR configuration, Aastra MX-ONE has multiple output formats. TIM Plus requires the SMDR format to be set to <span class="keyword">BC8</span> or <span class="keyword">BC10</span>.</p>

<h2>Configuring TIM Plus</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Plus to listen for SMDR data from your Aastra MX-ONE BC10:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Plus as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Click on the site configured during the setup wizard and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span> or create a new site and click <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>

	<li>Within the <span class="reference">Site Properties</span> window, select <span class="keyword">Aastra MX-ONE BC10</span> from the <span class="reference">PBX model</span> drop-down list.</li>
	<li>In the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> field select <span class="keyword">No connection required</span> from the drop-down list.</li>
	<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button no_margin">Save</span> button.</li>

  1. Site Properties window, select Aastra MX-ONE BC10 from the PBX model drop-down list.
  2. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  3. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
