These instructions help you configure your Mitel 3300 your Siemens OpenOffice phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configure the SMDR output

Follow the steps below to enable your phone system to send the SMDR output via IPin your telephone system:

  1. Log into in to the Siemens OpenOffice web portal.
  2. Click on

  3. Under the

    menu options., select  Click on

    and tick the SMDR options shown below:

  4. Under 
    Referencemacro
    LabelCDR System
    options, change the select
    Keywordmacro
    LabelOutput Format
    to
    Keywordmacro
    LabelLAN-LAN-TCP-Client
    from the drop-down list, as the output format.
  5. In the
    Referencemacro
    LabelTCP-Client
    Enter field, enter the IP Address address of the Machine with TIM on
  6. Specify a Port number
  7. Configure TIM to a listening connection.
  8. PC running TIM Plus and the port number that you want your SMDR data to be sent to.
  9. Click on the
    Buttonmacro
    LabelApply
    tab to save the changes.

Configure TIM Plus

Follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus to collect the SMDR data from your telephone system:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Choose the site you want to configure and click Properties.

  3. In the Site Properties window, select Siemens OpenOffice from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Host field, enter the IP address of your Siemens OpenOffice telephone system.
  6. In the Port field, enter the port number configured in the phone system.
  7. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
  8. In the Connection script field, select Siemens OpenOffice from the drop-down list.
  9. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
