Configuring your SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how Follow the instructions below to configure your Samsung iDCS phone system to output SMDR data to TIM Plus. You will need to use the Samsung Installation Tool:

  1. Log in to the Samsung Installation Tool software.
  2. On the Click on the 5. Features option from the left-hand side, click and expand the 5. Featuresoption.menu.
  3. Click on the 5.6 System I/O Options tab and select 5.6.2. LAN Printer.
  4. On the right-hand side, you will see the LAN Printer options. The first column will be SMDR. Below are the options and how they need to be configuredIn the LAN Printer options, configure the entries in the

  5. Click on the Save icon at the top to save the settings.
  6. On the left-hand side, click Click on the 5.6.3. SMDR Options tab . On the right-hand side, you will now see the SMDR Options. Below are the options and how they need to be configuredand configure the following settings:

Configuring TIM Plus

Below you will find steps on how Follow the steps below to configure TIM Plus to collect the SMDR data from your Samsung iDCS:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and clickProperties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select Samsung DCS from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select Actively connect to PBX from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Host field, enter the IP address of your Samsung iDCS.
  6. In the Port field, enter in 9000.
  7. Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
  8. In the Connection script field, select Samsung from the drop-down list.
  9. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
