Panasonic KX-TDA/E/NCP500-1000/NS Range - Serial connection

These instructions help you configure your Panasonic KX-TDA/E/NCP500/1000/NS Range phone system to work with TIM Plus. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring the SMDR output

Below you will find instructions on how Follow the steps below to configure your Panasonic KX-TDA/E phone system to output SMDR to TIM Plus. You will need to do this from the Panasonic Maintenance Console program:

1. Log in to the Panasonic Maintenance Console program.
2. Click on the 11. Maintenance tab from the left-hand side menu.
3. Next, click Click on the SMDR tab on the right-hand side to configure your SMDR options, and configure the options as shown below:

4. Click on the SMDR Options tab and configure the options as shown below:

5. Click on the Apply button to save the changes.

Installing NetPBX

The Panasonic KXThe Panasonic KX-TDA/E phone system sends /NCP500/1000/NS Range phone systems can send SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the call logging data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus, you will first need to install the NetPBX netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Plus

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps below:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and click Properties.

3. Within In the Site Properties window, select select Panasonic KX Family-TD Series from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
