Configuring your SMDR

Follow the steps below to configure the SMDR output on the your NEC XN120. The programming will need to be done via PC Pro/Web Pro:

1. Login Log in to your PC Pro/Web Pro software.

2. As the NEC XN120 has multiple ways of sending SMDR Data, below are the configuration settings based on each adaptor:

   Adaptor

   To configure SMDR output by serial port, apply the following settings:

   Adapter	Programming code	Value	Description
   NTCPU - IP	10-12-01	IP address that TIM Plus will connect to.	NTUCPU Network Setup - IP Address.
   	10-20-01	TCP port that TIM Plus will connect to. We recommend using 9000 and increment it for each NEC XN120 you configure.	LAN Setup for External Equipment.
   NTCPU - Serial	10-21-02	1	NTCPU Hardware Setup - Baud Rate for Com Port. In this screen you need to configure the baud rate for the com port. You have three options, Choose from the three available options: 0(4800), 1(9600) and 2(38400).

Installing NetPBX

If your NEC XN120 has been configured to send SMDR data via To capture SMDR data from your NEC XN120 using a serial connection, you will first need to need to install the NetPBX netpbx software to collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Plus. Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log on in to TIM Plus as usual and apply perform the following settingssteps below:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Select Choose the site configured during the setup wizard you want to configure and clickProperties.

3. Within In the Site Properties window, select NEC DXE from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
