<p>These instructions should assist in configuring your Aastra MX-ONE to 
work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX

<p>For your SMDR configuration, Aastra MX-ONE has multiple output formats. TIM Enterprise requires the SMDR format to be set to <span class="reference">BC8</span> or <span class="reference">BC10</span>.</p>

<h2>Configuring TIM Enterprise</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your Aastra MX-ONE BC10:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button" id="list">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'Aastra MX-ONE BC10'.</li>
	<li>Left-click on it and select <span class="button" id="list">Properties</span>.</li>
	<li>From the <span class="button" id="list">General</span> settings tab select <span class="keyword">Aastra MX-ONE BC10</span> from the PBX model list.</li>

	<li>In the <span class="button" id="list">Connection</span> tab select <span class="keyword">No connection required</span> from the <span class="reference">Connection method</span> list.</li>
	<li>Finally, click on the <span class="button" id="list">Save</span> button.</li>

These instructions help you configure your Aastra MX-ONE (Aastra 700) phone system to work with TIM Enterprise. Contact your system maintainer if you are not familiar with the configuration of your PBX.

Configuring your SMDR output

The Aastra MX-ONE  (Aastra 700) supports multiple SMDR output formats. TIM Enterprise requires the SMDR format to be set to either  BC8, BC10 or BC13. For more information on how to configure the data output, please contact your system maintainer.

Installing NetPBX

The Aastra MX-ONE (Aastra 700)  phone system sends SMDR information via a serial connection. To collect the data from the serial port and send it to TIM Enterprise you first need to install the netpbx software. For setup instructions, click on the link below:

Configuring TIM Enterprise

Once NetPBX is configured and collecting data, log in to TIM Enterprise and perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Locate the PBX object you want to configure in the Directory, right-click on it and select Properties.
  3. A new window will open, displaying the general properties of your PBX object. Select Aastra MX-ONE BC10 from the Data format list and tick the

  4. Click on the Connection tab and select No connection required from the Connection method list.
  5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
