Configuring your SMDR output

Using the CAT ( Customer Administration Terminal (CAT), enter the following settings in the system-programming mode:

CM40Output Default output port & and attributes defaults: 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 2 stop bits, DTR/RTS flow control.
CM13+05Enable SMDR for incoming calls to required stations.
CM13+06Enable SMDR for outgoing calls to required stations.
CM35+14Enable SMDR for outgoing calls to required trunk routes.
CM35+49Enable SMDR for incoming calls to required trunk routes.

If SMDR for incoming calls is enabled, specify whether it the setting applies to all incoming calls or only to those with Account Codes. Include that use account codes. Also, include ANI/Caller ID for incoming calls.

Tip

NOTE 1: The ANI/Caller ID is required to provide SMDR data for incoming calls, even if this feature is enabled by CM13+05 and CM35+49.

NOTE 2: Use CDR formats #501 (2400 IMS), #505 (2000 IPS), #506 (2000 IVS).

  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Choose the site you want to configure and clickProperties.

  3. Within In the Site Properties window, select NEC NEAX from the PBX model drop-down list.
  4. In the Connection method field, select No connection required from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.
