  1. Click on the Directory tab.
  2. Choose the PBX object you want to configure and click Properties.
  3. A new window will open. In the General tab, select  BT Pathway from the Data format list and tick the Keep a local backup of data box, as shown below:

  4. In the Connection tab, select No connection required from the Connection method list.
  5. Click on the Save button to apply the settings.

<p>These instructions should assist in configuring your BT Pathway to 
work with TIM Enterprise. If you are not familiar with PBX 
configuration, please contact your system maintainer.</p>

<p>You will need to directly connect a serial cable from the V24/SMDR module to the PC that NetPBX is installed and running on.</p>

<h2>Configuring your SMDR</h2>

<p>To receive SMDR information from the BT Pathway you will 
need to have a BT SystemPhone. You will need to be familiar with 
programming via the BT SystemPhone. To enable the SMDR output follow 
the below steps:</p>

<ol>
	<li>From the programming position, press the phone set up key <span class="button no_margin">P</span> and select <span class="button no_margin">System programming</span>.</li>
	<li>Enter the PIN and select <span class="button no_margin">System</span>.</li>
	<li>Select <span class="button no_margin">Call logging</span> and choose <span class="button no_margin">Call logging on</span>.</li>
	<li>Press <span class="button no_margin">HANDSFREE/MONITOR</span> to finish.</li>
</ol>

<h2>Configuring TIM Enterprise</h2>

<p>Below you will find steps on how to configure TIM Enterprise to listen for SMDR data from your BT Pathway:</p>

<ol>
	<li>Browse to TIM Enterprise as normal and login with your credentials.</li>
	<li>Click on the <span class="button no_margin">Directory</span> tab.</li>
	<li>Go the the point in the Directory where you need to add the PBX Object and add a PBX with the name 'BT Pathway'.</li>
	<li>Left-click on it and select <span class="button no_margin">Properties</span>.</li>
	<li>From the <span class="button no_margin">General</span> settings tab select <span class="keyword">BT Pathway</span> from the PBX model list.</li>
