Unify OpenScape Business - DSN connection

1. Open the Unify OpenScape Business.TDT file, located by default in C:\Program Files (x86)\Tri-Line\TIM Plus\config.
2. Edit the file to point to the IP address of your Unify OpenScape Business and enter the relevant username and password, as shown below

3. Remove the apostrophe (') in front of the amended fields to enable them. An example of a configured interface file is shown below:

Configuring TIM

Once the DSN connection has been set up, log in to TIM Enterprise and follow perform the following steps below:

1. Click on the Directory tab.
2. Choose Locate the site PBX object you want to configure and click Properties.

3. In the Site Properties window, select Unify OpenScape Business from the PBX model drop-down list.
4. In the Connection method field, select Connect to a system DSN from the drop-down in the Directory, right-click on it and select Properties.
5. A new window will open, displaying the  general properties of your PBX object. Select Unify OpenScape Busines from the Data format list and tick the Keep a local backup of data box, as shown below:

6. Click on the Connection tab and select System DSN connection from the Connection method list.

11. In the Frequency field, enter 5 5 to check for data every five seconds.
12. In the DB script field, select Unify OpenScape
