The Avaya BCM v3.x connection requires TIM Plus to use the Microsoft DCOM object. Microsoft has increased the security in DCOM after Windows XP Service Pack 2. If you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2+, you will need to make sure that the username and password are set as exactly as the same as the Windows username and password, as Microsoft has increased the security in DCOM after Windows XP Service Pack 2.
